Pools & hot tubs.
Staff.

Staff is lazy! We arrived and early and could not get a room. They said to come back after 3pm and they would have a room. We went back after 3pm and they gave us a room. It was not the room we paid for. We had paid for a room with a partial ocean view. They gave us a room overlooking the airport and no water in sight. We called down to the front desk to advise them and they argued with us saying you don't buy partial ocean view rooms you buy room type/size. We went back down to the lobby and demanded to speak with the manager at that point they fixed the problem. We went to the pool several times and ordered drinks. They served the Corona in glass bottles because they did not have cups big enough to hold the beer from the bottle. Security noticed we had glass bottles at the pool and got mad at us. We told them that the pool bar sold them that way and they needed to talk to them. They did not seem to care as they asked for our bottles. Good thing they were empty. We went back to the pool bar the next day and they were still handing out glass bottles which is dangerous. Hotel needs to buy some real cups and stop worrying about trying to screw people on drink prices. I went into the lobby bathroom and was attacked by mosquitoes. I looked on the ceiling and there were several of them. I complained to the front desk and went back to the same bathroom a few hours later. They blood sucking insects were still there. Hotel never did anything about them. ...read more

Close to airport.
Old and musky smell.

I was disappointed in this hotel. They have a dress requirement after 7 pm for lobby and restaurants. I like to keep beverages cold in my room and wasn't able to. The old musky smell reminded me of a basement. Beach was very dirty. ...read more

Large and
comfortable room.
20 Minutes to check in, noisy neighbors and no help from security.

The room was large and comfortably appointed. Restaurants and pool were lovely, however, Check-in was a nightmare, over 20 minutes to get through the line (only 2 clerks working). The TV next door was still incredibly loud (at 9:30 pm ) and 4 and 5 year old boys were still screaming. ...read more

There was everything in this hotel from fine dining and bars to shopping to nice pool and beach side areas.

This hotel has everything that a couple, business traveler, or family would need from great pool/beach areas and a variety of restaurants, to live music and a nice cocktail lounge.

The hotel was very contemporary in design and had excellent restaurants.
Many rooms did not have a view and the halls could be noisy at night.

This hotel combines both old architecture and style with contemporary design. The restaurants were pricey but the food and service were excellent in every single one. The pool area was beautiful and not too crowded. ...read more

Outside and interior areas seemed OK.
Room was old, run down, bathroom not too clean.

Room was run down. Might be a nice hotel if you get an updated room. Japanese restaurant was good, but expensive. I was glad I was only staying one night.

Lively night scene, if that is what you are looking for.
Restaurants, drinks, etc. were expensive.

First class, but not for families.
